Recipe Introduction


This is one of my kids & grandkid's favorites. A nice soft chewy cookie.


List of Ingredients




1 1/4 cup butter softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
3/4 cup baking cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Recipe



Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, vanilla and blend well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda & salt. Add to the creamed mixture & blend well. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Cookies will be soft. They will puff up when baking and flatten when cooled. Cool on cookie sheet for a few minutes. Remove to a wire rack & cool completely.
