Recipe Introduction


Grandpa always made these cookies for the holidays. My mother in law was kind enough to share the recipe with me. This is one of my favorites. You can also use this same recipe for cut out cookies if you wish.


List of Ingredients




4 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 lb. melted butter
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup milk

Recipe



Mix all of the above ingredients together. Take approximately 1 Tbs. of dough, roll into a rope and then twist, Do that for each cookie. Place the cookies on ungreased cookie sheet. I like to brush the top with an egg wash then bake in 350 degree oven till golden brown.
