Pasta With Broccoli

Recipe Introduction
Great Dish for a light supper or lunch. Also freezes well.
List of Ingredients
2 lbs. frozen broccoli florets, thawed & drained well
1 lb. of pasta (Choose either bow tie, penne or shells)
1/2 cup olive oil
8 garlic cloves peeled and thinly sliced
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 tsp. hot pepper flakes (optional)
Recipe
Steam & cook broccoli florets till tender. Drain & set aside. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain the cooked pasta & rinse with cool water to stop the cooking. Set aside. In a skillet heat the olive oil and saute the garlic until golden brown. Remove from the heat & stir in the lemon juice & red pepper flakes. In a large serving bowl, toss together the drained pasta & broccoli. Pour the garlic, lemon juice & red pepper flakes over the pasta. Toss well to combine.
