    Stuffed jumbo Shells

    Source of Recipe

    Mary King

    Recipe Introduction

Different and good. These shells can be stuffed and spread out on trays to freeze. After they are frozen, store in freezer bags till ready to use. I like to serve this with a tossed salad using an olive oil and vinegar dressing.

    List of Ingredients

20-24 8 oz. jumbo pasta shells
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 cup soft bread crumbs
    1/4 cup parsley
    1 Tablespoon minced onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. ground beef
3 cups of your homemade pasta sauce
    1 cup shredded mozzarella

    Recipe

Cook shells according to package directions. Drain and set aside. In large mixing bowl, combine eggs, crumbs, parsley, onion, and salt. Remove from heat. Cook ground beef. Add the cooked beef and shredded cheese to the crumb mixture and mix well. Stuff each shell with the meat filling. Pour 1/2 cup sauce in bottom of 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Arrange shells on sauce and pour remaining sauce over top. Bake uncovered for 1 to 1 1/4 hours at 375 degree oven.
