Haven't tried this yet but I haven't changed it much from the original, should be pretty good.
List of Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp table salt
- 1/2 tsp McNeil Nutritionals SPLENDA No Calorie Sweetener
- 1 tsp yeast
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 8 serving Polly-O Fat-free shredded Mozzarella
- 1 Tbsp canola oil
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt and sugar.
- In a liquid measuring cup measure 1 cup of water, add yeast & stir.
- Add yeast mixture to the flour mixture & stir until the flour mix pulls away from sides.
- On a lightly floured cutting board, knead dough until smooth and satiny, approx. 5 minutes.
- Shape dough into a ball, place in ziplock bag with 1 tablespoon oil. Make sure dough gets coated w/ oil so it won't dry out. Refridgerate overnight. (or until dough rises)
- When dough is ready preheat oven to 450. Remove dough from bag & place on pizza pan.
- Flatten immediately, patch any holes.
- Swirl sauce on dough & sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Add desired seasonings.
- Bake for 10-15 min or until crust is golden brown.
- Remove from oven & let stand a few min.
