    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/4 tsp yeast
    • 2/3 cup water
    • 1 1/2 tsp McNeil Nutritionals SPLENDA No Calorie Sweetener
    • 1/4 tsp table salt
    • 1 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    • 1/2 large egg(s)
    • 1 1/2 tsp water
    • 1 Tbsp kosher salt


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 435. Grease a large cookie sheet.
    2. Sprinkle yeast over warm water in large bowl, stir until dissolved.
    3. Stir in sugar & salt until dissolved.
    4. Gradually add flour w/ wooden spoon until stiff dough forms. (May have to add 1/4 cup more flour).
    5. Turn onto well-floured board. Knead until smooth, about 5-7 min.
    6. Divide dough into 6 equal pieces. If time permits, let dough rest about 5-10 min for easier shaping.
    7. Roll each dough piece into a 15" long rope. Shape each rope into a pretzel. Place on baking sheet.
    8. Beat together egg & water in small bowl, brush on pretzels. Sprinkle pretzels w/ coarse salt.
    9. Bake 15-25 min. or until golden brown.
