Bacon Chestnuts

List of Ingredients
2 cans whole water chestnuts
1 lb. bacon
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. Miracle Whip
Toothpicks
Kitchen shears
9 x 13 baking dish

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using kitchen shears, cut each slice of bacon in half. Wrap each whole water chestnut inside a slice of bacon, overlapping bacon on top. Secure by sticking a toothpick down through both ends of the bacon and the water chestnut.
Place each bacon chestnut in a 9 x 13 baking dish, side by side, toothpick facing up. Repeat until all water chestnuts and bacon are used up.
Mix brown sugar, ketchup and Miracle Whip together in medium sized mixing bowl. Pour this mixture evenly over the bacon chestnuts. Bake for 1/2 hour. YOu may bake an additional 15 - 20 minutes until desired consistency of the bacon.
