    A Chicken in Every Pot (Crockpot Recipe)

    List of Ingredients




    20 baby carrots
    2 med. celery ribs, cut into 1" pcs.
    2 large onions, quartered
    4 med. red potatoes, quartered
    2 tsp. Lawry's Seasoned Salt
    1 whole chicken (about 3 1/2 lbs)
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 lb. fresh green beans, cut into 1" pcs.

    Layer the following in the bottom of 4 1/2 qt. or larger slow cooker in this order: carrots, celery, beans, onions, potatoes. Sprinkle 1 tsp. of Seasoned Salt over vegetables. Place clean and rinsed chicken, breast side up on top of vegetables. You may need to rearrange vegetables slightly to make sure pot lid closes tightly. Sprinkle remaining 1 tsp. of Seasoned Salt evenly over the chicken. Pour water into the pot along one side. Cover and cook on low setting for 7 - 8 hours.
