• 3 Cups Sugar
  
• 3 Cups Brown Sugar
  
• 6 Cups Flour
  
• 4 Teaspoons Salt
  
• 4 Teaspoons Baking Soda
  
• 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  
• 4 Cups Shortening
  
• 12 Cups Oats
  






Instructions



1. In large tub, mix first six ingredients with mixer or by hand.
   
2. Cut in shortening with hand mixer.
   
3. Stir in rolled oats.
   
4. Place in an airtight container.
   
5. Store mix in cool place.
   






Final Comments


To use mix:
combine:
4 cups mix
2 eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes.
Makes 3 dozen.
