Starlite's Black Forrest Chocolate Breakfast Cake
2C winter white whole wheat flour
2/3C wondercocoa
3 tbls somersweet (1c sugar)
3 tlbs vital wheat gluten
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbls cherry flavor
8 oz fat free ricotta cheese
1C skim milk
Preheat oven to 350. Sift dry ingredients together twice. Combine wet ingredients. Add wet to dry and mix until well blended. Pour into ungreased non stick 8 inch square baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes away clean. Cool slightly and serve with a frosty glass of skim milk.
Besure and refrigerate any leftovers as this cake has no preservatives. I like to warm it a little in the microwave for that just from the oven experience.
