    BASIC REFRIGRATED SWEET DOUGH

    List of Ingredients

    BASIC REFRIGRATED SWEET DOUGH
    1 envelope active dry yeast
    1/3 cup warm water (105 to 115)
    1/4cup sugar
1 /4cup (1/2 stick )unsalted butter or margarine melted
    1/2cup daily sour cream
    1egg
    1 Tsp vanilla
    3/4Tsp salt
    3 cups flour

    Recipe

    1. Stir yeast into warm water in small bowl with 1 Tbsp sugar until dissolved. Let stand 10 min or until foamy

    2. Combine melted butter, sour cream, egg, vanilla, salt and remaining sugar in large bowl. Beat until well blended. Add 1 cup flour; on low speed, beat until well mixed

    3. Add yeast mixture and 1 more cup flour; beat 2 min at medium speed, scraping down side of bowl occasionally.
Gradually stir in remaining 1 cup flour to make medium-soft dough (dough should be softer then bread dough)

    4. Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface. Knead 5min until smooth, adding more flour if needed. Sharpe dough into ball. Place in lightly oiled bowl; turn to grease. Cover loosely with plastic wrap
Refrigerate 4 hours or up to 2days

To freeze: Dough can be wrapped tightly in a plastic bag at this point and frozen for up to 3months.
    Thaw overnight in refrigerator.
Punch dough down; proceed with recipe
