    TEXSAS BEEF BRISKET

    List of Ingredients

    TEXSAS BEEF BRISKET
    16 servings
    3Tbsp vegetable oil
    10large clove garlic, finally chopped
    1cup finely chopped onion
    1/3cup red-wine or cider vinegar
    1Tbsp fresh lemon juice
    1Tbsp hot pepper sauce
    2Tbsp ketchup
    2Tbsp dry mustard
    1Tsp cayenne pepper
    1 beef brisket (6pounds)





    Recipe





    1. Heat oil in medium-size saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and onion; cook for 8 min or until softened. Stir in vinegar, lemon juice, hot sauce, ketchup, mustard and cayenne. Summer, covered, 15 min, Remove from heat; let stand 20min or until cooled
    2. Place meat in roasting pan. Brush both side of meat with sauce, spooning any remaining sauce on top. Cover; refrigerate over night
    3. To bake; heat oven to 350. Bake meat, cover for 2hours. Reduce oven temp to 250; cook 6hours or until fork-tender
    4. Slice meat against grain. Serve with bottle barbecue sauce (or your favorite recipe) for dipping
