    Foolproof Chocolate Fudge

    List of Ingredients




    3 cups (18 oz.) semi-
    sweet chocolate chips
    1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand
    Sweetened Condensed Milk
    (not evaporated milk)
    1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
    1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    dash salt





    Recipe



    In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk and salt. Remove from heat; stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread evenly into waxed paper or foil-lined 8 or 9 inch square pan. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off paper or foil and cut into squares. Store loosely covered at room temperature. Yield: about 2 pounds
