Jennits (Italian Cookie)
List of Ingredients
1 lb. butter
2 cups sugar
6 or 7 eggs
6 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
8 cups flour
Recipe
Mix all ingredients except flour with mixer. Work in flour with hands or heavy duty mixer. Pinch off pieces of the dough (will be firm and elastic-y), roll into pencil shapes, form into donut-shaped rings around your finger. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes. Ice tops with confectionary sugar mixed with milk or roll in sesame seeds before baking.
