TEXAS COFFEECAKE
List of Ingredients
Cake batter:
2 sticks margarine
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
8 ozs. sour cream
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Filling:
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 tbls. brown sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
Recipe
1. Beat margarine and sugar together until light and fluffy.
2. Beat in eggs and sour cream and mix to thoroughly blend.
3. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Mix these dry ingredients into the batter.
4. Grease a bundt pan. Spoon 1/2 of the batter into the greased pan.
5. Mix together the filling ingredients and sprinkle the filling over the batter. Put the rest of the batter on top. Bake at 350° for 40 to 1 hour, depending on your oven.
