Old-Fashioned Biscuit Pudding
List of Ingredients
8 Martha White® "Hot Rize" Biscuits
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
Whipping cream, if desired Recipe
1. Heat oven to 425°F. Split each biscuit in half. In 10-inch cast iron skillet, place biscuits, split side up. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over biscuits; sprinkle sugar over brown sugar.
2. In medium bowl, combine milk, butter, vanilla and eggs; beat well. Pour over biscuits.
3. Bake at 425°F. for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Drizzle each serving with whipping cream.
