1 10 oz. can Campbells condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 5 oz. can chunk white chicken OR 1 7 oz. can tuna, drained and flaked
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. finely chopped green onion
1/4 tsp. hot red-pepper sauce
salad oil
1/4 cup sour cream
generous dash crushed tarragon leavesRecipe
In bowl, mix throughly 1/4 cup soup, chicken, egg, bread crumbs, green pepper, green onion and hot red-pepper sauce. shape into 40 small chicken meatballs, roll in additional bread crumbs. Half-fill deep fryer or large saucepan with oil; preheat to 350 degrees. Fry meatballs, a few at a time, in hot oil until browned. Drain; keep warm. Meanwhile, in sauce pan, combine remaining soup, sour cream and tarragon leaves. Heat; stirring occasionally. Serve with meatballs.
