    This is always my favorite thing to get when I go to Florida....

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup Karo syrup (red label)
    3/4 cup water
    2 cups sugar
    1 tbsp. corn starch
    1/2 tbsp. Mazola
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. desired flavoring (vanilla preferred)

    Recipe



    Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt and Mazola. Add Karo syrup and water. Stir until mixture boils rapidly. Boil to 250 degrees. Flavor. Pour into large plater lightly oiled. when cool enough to handle, oil hands and pull into rope. cut in 1 inch length pieces.
