Scallops with Balsamic Vinegar and Basil

For a change of pace serve this dish over fine egg noodles instead of rice!
List of Ingredients
1 shallot, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. butter, melted
14 oz. bay scallops
1 1/2 tsp. finely chopped fresh basil
1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1/8 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
Hot cooked riceRecipe
Saute` shallot and garlic in butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until tender. Add scallops and basil, ans saute` 2 minutes. Add vinegar, salt and pepper, and saute` an additional 3 minutes or until scallops are opaque. Serve mmediately over rice.
