    List of Ingredients


    • 1 can crushed pineapple,undrained
    • 1 package 8 serving size of jello brand lime gelatin
    • 11/2 cups cold ginger ale
    • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
    • 1 package of cream cheese,softened
    • 1/4 cup of chopped pecans


    Instructions


    1. drain pineapple,reserving liquid
    2. add water to to make 11/2 cups bring to a boil
    3. stir boiling liquid into gelatin in a large mixing bowl at least 2 minutes until dissolved
    4. stir in cold ginger ale and lemon juice reserve 21/2cups gelatin at room temperture
    5. pour remaining gelatin into a 5 cup mold
    6. refrigerate about 30 minutes or until thickened
    7. arrange 1/2 of the pineapple into the gelatin in mold
    8. stir reserved 2 1/2 cups gelatin into the cream cheese in a large bowlwith wire whiskuntil smooth
    9. refrigerate about 30 minutes or until set
    10. stir in remaining pineapple and chopped pecans spoon over gelatin layer in mold
    11. refrigerate 4 hours or until set
