**Jalapeno Cornbread**
Great with chili!
List of Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/4 cup chopped ham (optional)
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda stirred into 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. chile powder
- 1 (16 oz.) can creamed corn
- 2 fresh or canned jalapeno peppers, seeded/chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350*.
- Lightly grease a large iron skillet or muffin tin.
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; Mix well.
- Pour into the skillet or muffin tin and bake until lightly golden brown, about 40 minutes.
