List of Ingredients
- 1 package (about 4) boneless breasts, sliced into bite-size pieces
- 1 (28 oz.) Ragu Garden Style Spaghetti Sauce or any vegetable sauce you wish
- 1 small jar roasted Italian peppers
- 1 onion, chopped
- 5-6 fresh, large mushrooms, sliced or 1 small can
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 cup red wine, cooking or table wine
- olive oil
Instructions
- In large non-stick skillet, saute mushrooms, onions, garlic until tender.
- Add chicken and cook until no longer pink.
- Add jar sauce, wine and brown sugar; simmer for 15 minutes.
- Drain roasted peppers of oil and slice into small bite-size pieces; add to sauce and simmer 5 minutes more.
- Serve over spaghetti.
