    Fudgy Glazed Brownies

    Source of Recipe

    Caren

    Recipe Introduction

These are low cholesterol AND low Calorie (3 WW points)

    List of Ingredients

    Brownies:
    1 1/2 cups all-pupose flour
    1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 eggs
    4 egg whites
    3 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup 70% oil spread, melted (I didn't have this so I substituted canola oil and it seemed to work)
1 container (6 oz) low-fan vanilla yogurt (I used non fat and it worked fine)

    Glaze
    1 1/3 cup powdered sugar
    1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    2-3 tablespoons hot water

    Recipe

    1. For brownies, preheat over to 350. Spray bottom of 9X13 inch pan with nonstick cooking spray. In small bowl, combine flower, cocoa powder and salt; mix well.
    2. In another bowl, whisk eggs and egg whites until blended. Add sugar, vegetable spread, and yogurt; whisk until blended. Gradually add flour mixture; mix until well blended.
    3. Pour batter into pan. Bake 25-28 minutes or until center is set. Do not overbake. Remove from over and cool completely.
    4. For glaze, combine powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla and hot water; mix until smooth and spreadable. Spread evenly over surface of cooled brownie. Let stand until frosting is set. Cut into bars.

Yield: 32 bars (yes, they are small but they are so rich it's plenty)
