    I wish I could say that we have a secret family recipe but we have stolen the Criso recipe for our own. They're the best!

    List of Ingredients




    3/4 cup Butter Flavored Crisco Stick
    1 1/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
    2 Tbs. milk
    1 Tbs. real vanilla
    1 egg
    1 3/4 cups flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat until well blended. Beat in egg. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Mix into creamed mixture just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 3 inches apart onto ugreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 min.

    Yield: about 3 dozen
