    Fruit "Stuff"

    Fresh peach slices or strawberries for the cherries, when in season.






    List of Ingredients




    3 20 oz cans chunk pineapple, drained (save juice)
    2 15 oz cans mandarin orange slices, drained (save juice)
    3 3oz boxes cooked (NOT instant) vanilla pudding
    2 10 oz jars maraschino cherries, drained and rinsed
    5 banannas, sliced

    Recipe



    Take a collander, set over a large pot or dutch oven. Open the cans of pineapple and oranges and dump into the colander. Let sit for a few min. Set drained fruit aside. Take the pot to the stove, containing the drained juices. Add the 3 pkgs of pudding. Over med hi heat wisk together till boiling. The mixture will thicken and become transparent. Turn off heat and let cool. Add reserved fruit. Open jars of cherries and rinse well, drain and add to the mixture. When cool, add the sliced banannas and stir gently. Fridge till cold.
