List of Ingredients
Filling:
1/2 lb. ground beef
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. taco seasoning mix
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. refried beans
Crust:
2 to 2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 pkg. dry yeast
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. lukewarm water
2 Tbsp. oil
taco sauce
8 oz. pkg. cheese (8 slices),
cut into 16 triangles
Recipe
Brown ground beef and onions. Add taco seasoning, water
and refried beans. Simmer for a few minutes.
Mix water, sugar, salt, oil and yeast. Mix in whole
wheat flour, slowly mix in flour. Knead. Cut in four pieces,
roll into 10-inch circles, cut in 4 wedges, brush each with
taco sauce almost to edge. Place 2 tablespoons of filling.
Roll up starting with wide end. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20
minutes. Garnish with cheese, bake 2 to 3 minutes longer.
