Jalepeno Poppers

Recipe Introduction
Make ahead and freeze, then just take out and bake when you've got a crowd!
List of Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
- 1 cup shredded monterey jack
- 6 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 pound jalepeno peppers cut in half and seeded
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs (italian are good)
Instructions
- In mixer combine cheeses, bacon and seasoning
- Mix well.
- Fill pepper halves
- Roll in bread crumbs
- At this step, they can be frozen until needed
- Place on cookie sheet. Spray sheet and top of poppers with cooking spray
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden
Final Comments
For no apparent reason, some of these will be mild tasting and some will be hot. No idea why!
