List of Ingredients
2 pkg. active dry yeast (or 2 T.)
6 cups flour
1 T. sugar
2 t. salt
2 cups milk
1/4 t. baking soda
1/2 cup water
cornmealRecipe
Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, soda and salt. Heat liquids til warm, add to dry mixture and beat well. Stir in remaining flour. Spoon into 2 greased bread pans. Let rise until reaches top of pan. Bake 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Take out of bread pans immediately. Can sprinkle cornmeal on bottom of greased pans and at top of loaves before baking. Makes 2 loaaves
