    Recipe Introduction

This is the recipe my mom always uses to make cinnamon rolls. Always one of the best!

    List of Ingredients

    Mix together:
    3 1/2 cups lukewarm milk
    1 cup sugar
    4 t. salt

    Stir in:
3 scant T. yeast dissolved in 1/2 cup warm water (if halving recipe, use 2 T. yeast

    Stir in:
    4 eggs at room temperature
    1 cup oil

    Recipe

Mix in first with spoon, then with hands 15 cups of flour (more or less). Add flour in 2 additions.

After second rising, divide dough for desired rolls. Shape dough, let rise and bake according to directions

    For Cinnamon rolls:
use 1/4 recipe, roll 9 x 18, spread with 2 T. butter and 1/2 cup sugar and 2 t. cinnamon. Cut into 1 inch slices.

Place an inch apart in greased pans. Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes, after letting rise until double for the last time.

These rise 3 times. Let rise, punch down, let rise again, make rolls, then let rise before baking.

    Icing:
    Makes about 2 cups frosting.

    1/3 cup margarine
    1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
    1 1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 tsp cinnamon
milk or cream to make icing consistency. Add tablespoon at a time.

For mini batch, mix 1 T. margarine, 1/2 cup brown and 1/2 cup powdered sugar, pinch of cinnamon and couple drops of vanilla. Add milk teaspoon at a time.

Ice while still warm so it runs all over them. Gooey and good!
