    List of Ingredients


    • 1 small 8 to 9 oz day old loaf French Bread
    • 3 eggs
    • 3 T. sugar
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 2 1/4 cups milk
    • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    • 6 T. dark brown sugar (or whatever you have)
    • 1/2 t. ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
    • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
    • 1 cup sliced strawberries (optional)


    Instructions


    1. Spray 13 x 9 baking dish.
    2. Diagonally cut bread into 1" slices and place in baking dish
    3. In medium bowl, lightly beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Stir in milk until well blended
    4. Pour mixture over bread in baking dish, turning slices to coat well.
    5. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    6. Heat oven to 375 degrees next morning
    7. Mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon, cut in butter.
    8. Turn bread slices over, scatter blueberries over bread, and sprinkle evenly with crumb mixture.
    9. Bake about 40 minutes or until golden brown.
    10. Serve with strawberries if desired. Can be eaten hot or cold
