    Recipe Introduction

Thousands of these buckeyes have been made. Enjoy them anywhere. You don't have to be from Ohio.

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 lb. peanut butter
    • 1/2 lb. butter or oleo
    • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    • 1 1/4 pound confectioner's sugar
    • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 1/3 bar paraffin wax, shaved

    Instructions

    1. Mix first four ingredients together so it can be molded into balls
    2. Add more sugar if needed.
    3. Roll into balls about the size of large marbles. Chill or refridgerate until ready to dip.
    4. Melt 12 oz. bag of chips and paraffin over double boiler. Coat balls using toothpicks. Set on waxed paper to cool.
    5. I usually store refriderated. Makes about 6 dozen or so.
    6. Make sure when you coat them you leave an "eye" open for the buckeye!
