    Recipe Introduction

This recipe won first place at the Canfield Fair in 2003.

    List of Ingredients

    • 18 oz. jar creamy Peter Pan peanut butter
    • 1/2 cup butter (the real stuff)
    • 1 T. vanilla (real) (imitation will work)
    • 1 pound confectioner's sugar
    • 12 oz. Nestle's semi sweet chocolate chips
    • 1/3 bar parafin wax, shaved

    Instructions

    1. Mix all but chocolate chips and wax in bowl and roll into balls, about the size of a large marble. Chill if desired
    2. In double boiler, mix and melt chocolate pieces and wax.

    3. With toothpicks, stick cold peanut butter balls into melted chocolate, covering all but an "eye"
    4. Let cool on waxed paper cookie sheets. I usually put them in the freezer to chill, then pull off and store in fridge, freezer, or cool place. Makes about 6 dozen
