    Whole Wheat Bread

    Source of Recipe

    Unknown

    List of Ingredients

    3 3/4 cups SGWW flour
    3 TBSP Vital Wheat Gluten
    3 TBSP powdered Milk
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    6 packettes of Splenda

1 3/4 cups Hot water (use warm for regular recipe vs Bread machine)
1 1/2 TBSP active dry yeast

For doing the regular bread vs the bread machine take a couple of teaspoons of flour and add to 1 cup of water and add yeast to the flour water and let it proof (about 15 minutes until it starts to bubble)

Mix the dry ingredients together well and when the yeast is started (proofed) and the water to the flour mixture in a mixer with a dough hook or in a large bowl and mix up your dough. SGWW dough should start out pretty wet and sticky and will firm up some as it is kneaded, but still will be wetter and stickier than white bread dough.

Once you have mastered the plain SGWW bread you can start adding things like sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, Pecan or other nut pieces, steel cut oats, wheat or oat bran, oatmeal, cooked and soaked wheat berries
