List of Ingredients
2 C. chopped onion (sweet if possible)
4 cloves garlic chopped fine or 1 T. of jar garlic
2 T. olive oil
Add and simmer
1 --4 oz. can green chili pepper (could add more)
2 – 29 oz cans of tomato sauce
1 can beef broth (14 oz.) Swanson’s 99% fat free
8 T. Chili powder (I use 4T)
3 tsp salt
4 T. cumin powder (I use 2T)
3 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
In separate skillet sauté and drain 3 lbs hamburger.
Combine the simmered sauce and onion garlic mixture with the hamburger for 15
min. Taste for adjustments.
Serve with sour cream and shredded colby or cheddar cheeseRecipe
