2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
3 tablespoons sugar

In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients with wire whisk. Place mix in airtight container. MIx is good presented in basket lined with a napkin, accompanied by a small jar of honey and a wooden honey server.
Whole Wheat Beer Bread (1 loaf): whole wheat beer bread mix, 1 12 oz bottle of beer or 1 12 oz bottle of unflavored seltzer, 1/2 c. butter or margarine melted. Preheat oven to 375ºF. In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread mix with the beer or seltzer. Blend the mixture together, using a wooden spoon. The batter will be lumpy. Place dough in a greased loaf pan. Pour 1/3 of the butter over dough. Bake the bread for 40 minutes, and then pour 1/3 of the butter over the top of the bread. Continue baking for 10 minutes more. Pour the last 1/3 of butter on the bread and bake 10 minutes longer. Remove the bread from the oven. Allow the bread to cool for 30-45 minutes and serve warm.
