    Broccoli Salad

    This tastes even better the next day. Refrigerate.

    List of Ingredients




    1 or 2 bunches of broccoli (cut top florettes only)

    1/2 cup mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
    1 tablespoon of sugar (more if you like) or Equal
    1 tablespoon vinegar

    grated cheese, about 1/2 cup or more
    bacon, about 4 slices, fried, drained and crumbled (may use bacon bits)
    a little bit of onion, chopped fine (optional)

    Recipe



    Cut the florettes off the broccoli stalks and rinse well in a colander. Drain.

    Make a dressing out of the mayo, sugar or Equal or Splenda and vinegar. Stir to be sure sugar or Equal is dissolved.

    Add grated cheese to the broccoli.

    Add bacon that has been fried, drained, and crumbled. You may also use Bacon Bits to save time.

    Mix the dressing with all of the above and stir.

    Maybe be made ahead, refrigerated.
