    List of Ingredients




    1 pound butter (not margarine)
    2 cups sugar
    2 T water
    1/2 t salt
    1 cup finely chopped pecans
    6 Hershey bars

    Recipe



    Combine butter, sugar, water, and salt in a heavy 2 quart pot. Attach a candy thermometer to the side of the pot. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until candy thermometer gets to 300 - 310 degrees.

    Pour onto large cookie sheet and spread as thin as possible. Sprinkle with pecans. Break Hershey bars and place pieced evenly over candy. After about 5 minutes spread the now melted chocolate over the candy. Allow the candy to cool completely, then break into pieces. Store in airtight container.
