List of Ingredients
- 1 qt fresh blackberries
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon allspice
- 12 whole cloves
- 2 cups brandy
Instructions
- In gallon jar, combine blackberries, sugar and spices.
- Pour in brandy; cover.
- Invert jar daily till sugar is dissolved. About 4 days.
- Place in cool dark place for a least two months.
- Strain through cheesecloth before serving.
