Aunt Jemima's Maple Syrup

List of Ingredients
2 cups water
1 cup sugar
2 cups dark corn syrup
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp maple flavoring
Recipe
Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil over medium heat. Let it boil for 7 minutes.
Remove from heat and cool for 10 - 15 minutes.
Add maple flavoring and mix well.
Store in refrigerator for up to 6 months.
Variation: Add 3 TBSPS of butter for butter flavored maple syrup.
