    Cake-Hot Chocolate Cake

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup margarine
    • 1 cup water
    • 1/2 cup oil
    • 3 heaping tablespoons of Hershey's unsweetened dry cocoa
    • Directions- Mix together the above ingredients in a sauce pan over heat and bring to a boil.
    • Next- Add these ingredients to the saucepan and stir well.
    • 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup buttermilk, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • Next- sift and add the following ingredients:
    • 2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon soda,1/2 teaspoon salt
    • Mix well! then remove from heat and pour into 9X13 inch pan
    • Bake @350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
    • Frosting-
    • Melt in saucepan over stove
    • 1/2 cup margarine
    • 6 Tablespoons of canned milk
    • 3 Tablespoons of dry cocoa
    • Add 1 box (1lb) of powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 cup nuts
    • Mix well and frost cake as soon as it comes out of the oven
