- 3-1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup white karo syrup
- 1 teaspoon oil flavoring
- 1 tsp. food coloring
Instructions
- Boil sugar and syrup to a scant 300 degrees on the candy thermometer. Remove from heat. and mix in flavoring and color.
- Pour into a 9 X 13 pan that has been oiled lightly and generously covered with powdered sugar. Immediately sprinkle with plenty of powdered sugar and cut into small pieces with scissors.
- Candy will harden quickly.. so you must cut QUICKLY.
