    List of Ingredients


    • 3-1/2 cups sugar
    • 1 cup white karo syrup
    • 1 teaspoon oil flavoring
    • 1 tsp. food coloring


    Instructions


    1. Boil sugar and syrup to a scant 300 degrees on the candy thermometer. Remove from heat. and mix in flavoring and color.
    2. Pour into a 9 X 13 pan that has been oiled lightly and generously covered with powdered sugar. Immediately sprinkle with plenty of powdered sugar and cut into small pieces with scissors.
    3. Candy will harden quickly.. so you must cut QUICKLY.
