    List of Ingredients


    • 6 medium potatoes, peeled and salted
    • 1/2 cup melted butter
    • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1/3 cup chopped green onions
    • 1 pint sour cream
    • 1 can cream of chicken soup
    • 2 cups corn flakes, crushed
    • 1 stick butter


    Instructions


    1. cook potatoes in salted boiling water until tender.

    2. Refrigerate potatoes, covered, overnight.

    3. Grate potatoes coarsely. Mix with rest of ingredients and 1/2 tsp. salt

    4. Put in shallow 1-1/2 qt. baking dish. Mix cornflakes and butter and sprinkle over top.

    5. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.



    Final Comments


    frozen hashbrowns works well too.
