This is Susan Blatt's Notes:
This recipe was given to me by my great aunt Ruth Elaine as part of a wedding gift. On the back of the recipe card she explained to me that Aunt Mattie was a sister to my grandmother's mother.



List of Ingredients




2 eggs
1/4 lb butter
1 c sugar
1/2 c cold water
2 c flour
3 heaping Tbsp buttermilk powder
1 tsp soda
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla




Recipe



Beat together egg, butter and sugar. Add cold water. Add flour, buttermilk powder, soda, baking powder and salt. Put in some cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Put a raisin or nut on top of each. 350* for 10 minutes (but check!)
