    2 cups plain unbolted white cornmeal OR House of Autry's hushpuppy mix
    1/3 cup sugar
    1 tsp onion salt
    2 tbsp finely minced onions
    1 1/2 cups water






    Recipe



    Mix ingredients until wet but firm, spoon into hot oil at 325 degrees

    Makes 24-30 hushpuppies
