Old Fashioned Pound Cake (serves 8): 1 c. butter, 6 eggs, 1 c. sour cream, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp orange extract, 1/2 tsp lemon extract, 1 package pound cake mix. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease and flour an 8-to 9-cup Bundt pan. In large bowl of electric mixer, cream butter until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the sour cream and extracts. Pour pound cake mix into the bowl and blend on low speed until batter is smooth. Pour into the bundt pan and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 30 minutes. Unmold onto a wire rack and cool completely.
