2lbs. Round Steak
3 T. all purpose flour
1/4 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
2 T. veg oil
1 can (8oz.)crushed pineapple undrained
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 T. dark brown sugar
1 T. lime juice
1/2 t. ground allspice
1/4 t. ground ginger
1/4 t.dry mustard
Recipe
Place steaks between 2 sheets of heavy duty plastic wrap and flatten to 1/4" thickeness (or have your butcher run thru tenderizer once or twice). Cut into serving size pieces. Combine flour, salt and pepper. Dredge steak in flour mix. Brown on both sides and drain. Return steak to skillet. Combine pineapple and reamaining ingredients. Pour over steak. Bring to boil, cover reduce heat and simmer 1 1/2 hrs. or until tender.
