1 package mincemeat
3/4 C water
2 C flour,
1 t.baking powder
1/2 t soda
1/4 t salt
3/4 C sugar
1 C chopped nuts.
1 egg
3/4 C salad oil

Simmer mincemeat with water about 5 minutes. Let
stand overnight.
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Stir in sugar and
chopped nuts. Add mincemeat, egg, and salad oil.
Drop by tsp on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake about 10 min.
Drizzle with milk and powdered sugar icing.
Makes 4 dozen.
