    Savory fall stew with unusual ingredients.

    List of Ingredients




    3 tablespoons flour
    2 teaspoons salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
    2 pounds beef stew meat
    3 tablespoons Olive Oil
    2 cups fresh apple cider
    1/2 cup water
    2 tablespoons cider vinegar
    1 large bay leaf
    4 carrots sliced
    3 potatoes, quartered and sliced
    2 onions, sliced
    1 celery stalk, sliced
    1 apple, sliced

    Recipe



    Combine flour, salt and pepper in a bowl. Toss the stew beef into the flour mixture. Brown with olive oil in Dutch oven. Stir in cider, water and cider vinegar. Bring to a boil. Add bay leaf. Simmer meat until tender. Add remainng ingredients and cook until the vegetables are tender.
