Mashed Potatoes-Sour Cream

Here's a little something I tried out on the family when I didn't have anything for gravy.
I peel and cut up my potatoes, as for mashed. I bring the water to a boil and add a Tablespoon of chicken soup base, and about 6 peeled cloves of garlic. When the potatoes are tender, I drain all but a little bit of the water, throw in 1/4 cup butter, 1/4 cup sour cream, a few Tablespoons cream cheese and some parsley. Then I beat as for mashed potatoes. The kids love them!
