List of Ingredients
16 Oz. Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
1 1/2 Cups Pioneer® Baking Mix
16 Oz Bulk Sausage, Jimmy Dean is best
1 Can (26 oz) Jalapeno Peppers, seeded and deveined
6 Oz Pork Shake & Bake Mix
2 Whole Eggs, beaten
Recipe
Mix half the cheese, Bisquick and sausage into a dough and roll dough 1/8" thick.
Stuff peppers with remaining cheese, pinching together tightly. Wrap each Jalapeno in dough, removing excess dough from peppers, and seal completely. Shape like an egg.
Roll "eggs" in Shake & Bake, dip in beaten egg and roll in Shake & Bake again.
Bake at 325 degrees 20 to 25 minutes. May be made in advance and reheated.
YIELD: 10 "eggs". Cut in half to serve.
